IBPS PO Exam Eligibility criteria are based on three major aspects

Candidates should fulfill all the IBPS PO Exam Eligibility Criteria if they wish to appear in the exam.
Nationality
To appear in the IBPS PO exam you must be either-
- A citizen of India or
- A subject of Nepal or
- A subject of Bhutan or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 or
- A person who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries, The United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Vietnam and settled permanently in India.
Note: Identity proof certified by the government of India is required if you belong to the above-mentioned categories.
Age Limit
The minimum age to appear in the IBPS PO Exam is 20 years and the maximum age is 30 years. So, you must bear on or after August 1989 but not later than August 1999.
Age limit is considered an important criterion for the selection of candidates who wish to appear in the IBPS PO exam.
Age Relaxation
There are some relaxations that are provided for the aspirants from different categories. Below the different relaxation in the age limit are mentioned:

Some Important Points to Remember
- The relaxation in the upper age limit for SC (Schedule Caste)/ ST (Schedule Tribe) / OBC is allowed on a cumulative basis.
- ST Students with physical disabilities will get a maximum of 15 years of relaxation in the upper age limit for the IBPS PO exam.
- EWS (Economically weaker category) candidates and general category candidates are also applicable for the age relaxation but they have to submit the original documents with photocopy during the recruitment process.
Educational Qualification
The basic education eligibility for an IBPS PO is that you have a graduation degree in any branch/stream or any equivalent qualification from a recognized and government-affiliated university.
Below the details are mentioned that you require to fulfill the IBPS PO exam education eligibility:
- Candidates must enter the percentage marks obtained in graduation or any equivalent degree they have completed while filling the online application form.
- Candidates have a valid degree/marksheet certificate from the recognized university or college on the day they registered for the exam.
- Candidates who are in the final year/semester of their education cannot apply for the exam.
The fraction of the percentage arrived is ignored. For example, 58.78 percent is treated as 59

There is no restriction on the number of IBPS PO exams until you cross the IBPS PO age limit.
