Maths was lengthy, Physics & Chemistry remained average
If a similar trend continues, students should save time for Maths by solving Chemistry first and then Physics to score high
Pramod Maheshwari CMD, Career Point
While analysing the JEE Main 2021 session 3 paper on 20th July Academic Director of Career Point Mr. Shailendra Maheshwari said that the Mathematics paper in both the shifts was lengthy, in which the students took more time due to the lengthy calculations. Both Physics and Chemistry were average. However, Physics was a bit tricky as compared to Chemistry.
Maths: Most questions were asked in Maths from Algebra and Calculus as well as questions from JEE topics which are not there in Advanced syllabus like Height and Distance, Statistics, Mathematical Reasoning, Sets and Relation etc. Maths paper was lengthy due to more calculations. 50-50% questions were asked from both the 11th and 12th syllabus. In Maths, 45% question paper was general, 35% average and 20% difficult.
Physics: In Physics, maximum 60% questions were asked from Electro Dynamics and Mechanics, 10-10% from Modern Physics, Heat & Thermodynamics, Waves and SHM. Physics paper was average.
Chemistry: Chemistry paper was easy as compared to Maths & Physics. In Chemistry 34% questions were from inorganic, 30% questions from Physical and 36% questions from Organic Chemistry.
Pramod Maheshwari, Director, Career Point said that if a similar trend continues, students should save time for Maths by solving Chemistry first and then Physics to score high. He congratulated all the students for the further examinations. He said that in order to provide additional support to JEE Main students, a Rank Shaper course is being provided free on the eCareerPoint app, which can be obtained by downloading the app from Google Play store.
