The solutions for JEE main 2021 will help students analyze their answers and calculate the score. The answer key is released by the official authority that is the National Testing Agency (NTA).

The NTA will release the JEE Main 2021 answer key four times per year. The official authority firstly releases the provisional answer key where students would be allowed to make suggestions or claim objections against the answer key. JEE Main answer key 2021 to calculate scores

Candidates will be able to make their score predictions better with the JEE Main 2021 answer key as there is a negative marking for each wrong answer. All the candidates must check JEE Main 2021 marking scheme pattern before calculating the score and keep in mind the points if they are to challenge the answer key. Candidates can use the formula which is given below to perfectly predict their marks-

Probable Score = (No. of correct answers x 4) - (No. of incorrect answers)
Please make sure that the above formula is correct, but the final answer may vary because NTA can change or even cancel any question. Therefore, your score may vary from the actual probability.

 

How can you challenge your answers with JEE Mains's official answer key released by NTA?

Follow the set of instructions below for the guidance
After getting the official JEE Main official answer key, the candidates are given time to put their objection against the answer key. If they think if any answer is incorrect then candidates should have to make a note of question ID and answer which is given through the provisional answer key of JEE Mains. After that apply through the official link jeemain.nta.nic.in together with a payment of Rs 1000 for each question. Here are the steps to follow-

  • Visit the official website-jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • You will see a link-“challenges regarding answer key”. Then click on it.
  • Now, do log in with the help of your application number and password.
  • JEE Main Paper 1 and 2 contain IDs of questions and their answers. If there seems to be a mistake then the candidate can challenge the question by selecting the correct question ID.
  • Now click on ‘Save your claim’ and click on next.
  • If you have done it right then the question ID that you challenged will appear on your screen.
  • Candidates have to submit the important documents (their answers) to support their challenge.
  • They can upload it in pdf format and click on choose file and upload it.
  • The last step is to pay the fee of Rs. 1000 for every question that you think or claim to be wrong.
  • Also, the fee is refundable if the candidate’s claims prove to be the right ones.

The New Exam Pattern

According to the latest updates by NTA, the number of attempts is increased to 4 attempts for JEE Mains Aspirants, now on there is a change in Exam Pattern too. Exam Pattern for JEE Main 2021 is a bit different from the Previous Year Pattern, this is so because of the altering of the syllabus by state boards and CBSE. From Now onwards each section from Physics, Chemistry and Maths will have 30 questions and all the subjects will have 2 sections respectively. According to the new norms, there will be 20 MCQs in section A and 10 Numerical value answer-based questions in section B. whereas in section B attempting 5 questions out of 10 is mandatory for all candidates.

  • One more major change that was introduced by NTA was, that JEE Mains 2021 will be conducted in 13 languages.
  • JEE Mains 2021 will be a computer-based test and there will be MCQs and numerical-value type questions as well in Paper 1 of the Computer-based test. That will be carrying the weightage of total marks of 300.
  • B.Arch and B.Planning will be having Mathematics and Aptitude as the common sections and third section of drawing or planning based respectively.

Eligibility Criteria For JEE Main 2021

In order to qualify for JEE Main 2021, Aspirants must be familiar and ready with the syllabus of JEE Main 2021 and the guidelines for filling up the online form. Mentioned below are the guidelines set by the National Testing Agency (NTA). You can find the updated guidelines for JEE Main 2021 that are prescribed by NTA below.

  • The compulsion for 75% in Class 12th was retracted. Moreover, Candidates will only need to show the passing certificate in the 12th board exam.
  • Age Limit- Now there is no age limit to appear for the JEE Main.
  • Eligibility Criteria will also benefit the candidates who have qualified for JEE Main 2019 or after.
  • Candidates who have cleared the 12th Board's examination in 2019 or 2020 or 2021, will only be eligible to apply for JEE Main 2021.
  • All the JEE Main Aspirants will get 4 attempts for JEE Mains and 2 attempts for JEE Advanced 2021.

Download Admit Card

To download your JEE Main 2021 Admit Card, follow the following steps,

  • First, visit the official website of JEE Main 2021 - Click Here
  • Then click on the 'Download JEE Main 2021 admit card’ Button at the bottom
  • Enter your login credentials (that you have received via SMS / e-mail), the application number, your date of birth, and security code.
  • You can see your admit card after you login into your account which further is saved or downloaded.
  • Download the admit card in pdf format to take a printout or you can also directly print the admit card from the webpage.

Fill the application form of JEE Main 2021.

Follow the following steps to fill the application form for JEE Main 2021.

  • First of all visit NTA/JEE Main official website- jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • You need to study the guidelines issued by NTA to fill up the application form before start filling up the form.
  • After you have gone through the guidelines, fill up the Login or sign up details
  • Fill in all the details in the application form and check the details.
  • Upload the photo and signature and Class 12 mark sheet in jpg or png format. The image should be under the size of 50KB.
  • Before submitting the form do check all the details carefully.
  • Make Fee payment, via debit/ credit card or UPI, or Net-Banking.
  • After you have initiated the payment, take Print out of the JEE Main confirmation page and the Payment Receipt.
  • The confirmation page of JEE Main 2021 or the payment receipt can be asked for further reference, therefore you should keep it safely.
