NTSE exams have two stages. The first stage is at the state level which is held in all the states and Union Territories of India. All the students must be through the first stage, in order to go for stage 2. After qualifying in stage 1 they go for stage 2. The eligibility criteria for students appearing for the NTSE exams- Only Class X Students are eligible to apply for NTSE Test. Any student, who is studying in a government or private institution is eligible to apply for the exam. The Selected candidates are rewarded with the scholarship amount only if he/she pursue their studies in India only.

Every Candidate has to score the below-mentioned percentage in each paper to get qualified:-

Candidates need to contact the State/UT officer for the application forms. Once you have completed the form, it has to be signed by the school principal after which you can submit it to the state/UT officer. Below is the application form state-wise for NTSE Class X. The NTSE exam has two main tests called the; Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) is given below. It is an objective type test based on a paper-pencil format. You have to select and mark one right answer from the four given options. Each right answer carries one point, however, at the second stage 1/3 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.
