There is no specific syllabus for the NTSE exam. However, the questions of the NTSE Stage I and II exams both are based on the Class 9 and Class 10 levels. Mathematics, Science, and Social Science form the core of the NTSE Syllabus. Following is the complete syllabus that applicants are required to study to prepare for the school level scholarship exam:

NTSE 2020 for both the levels, the exam will be divided into two sections i.e. Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT). In each of the sections, there will be 100 questions, 1 mark each. The time duration will be 120 minutes for each paper. Both the paper will be conducted through the offline mode (pen and paper test) only. As of now, there will not be any negative markings in the examination. The pattern of NTSE 2020 Exam pattern is:

The Admit Card for NTSE Stage 2 will be issued to only Stage 1 qualifiers. These admit cards are issued by NCERT once the procedure for stage 1 is successfully completed. Candidates can download the admit card from the NCERT official website.
